Tata Harrier EV Interior

The interior of the Tata Harrier EV is as premium and tech-savvy as its ICE version. It has a floating touchscreen infotainment system, which will probably be 12.3-inches. Features like digital instrument cluster, four-spoke steering wheel, touch-based HVAC panel and dual-tone dashboard are also present in it. There is also a stubby drive selector and rotary dial on the center console. Apart from this, features like panoramic sunroof and electronic parking brake also make it more attractive.

Tata Harrier EV Exterior

The exterior of the Tata Harrier EV is as stylish and aggressive as its ICE version. However, it has some cosmetic changes, which highlight its electric identity. It has EV-specific details with a closed-off grille, revised front and rear bumpers. Unlike the ICE version, the electric version has newly designed aero-optimized alloy wheels. The ‘.EV’ badging on the front doors and tailgate also further enhances its identity.

Tata Harrier EV Powertrain

Talking about its power, Tata Harrier EV is designed on the brand’s Gen 2 Acti.ev architecture, which is a modified version of the Omega platform. With this new architecture, the EV will get an AWD (all-wheel drive) system with an electric motor mounted on each axle. This system powers all four wheels by adjusting torque distribution according to road conditions. This setup is ideal for light off-roading, daily commuting and rain, snow and slippery roads.

Apart from this, the electric Harrier features a multi-link rear suspension, which replaces the torsion beam setup. Tata is yet to release the exact powertrain details, but it has been confirmed that the peak torque of this electric SUV will be 500Nm. According to media reports, the Tata Harrier EV can be offered with multiple battery options, with a claimed range of more than 500km.

Tata Harrier EV Price

Now talking about its price, the price of Tata Harrier EV can start from around Rs 25 lakh for the base variant, while the price of the top variant can go up to Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, it will compete with electric SUVs like Mahindra XUV400 and BYD Atto 3.
