In November, Indian consumers are eagerly anticipating the drop in prices for cars and bikes. Along with this, November is also known as the launching month for automotive enthusiasts, with many exciting vehicles set to be unveiled. As the year ends, some of India’s most renowned car and bike manufacturers are gearing up to launch affordable, exciting models for Indian buyers. Here are some of the must-try cars and bikes that you should consider adding to your garage.
1. New-Gen Honda Amaze
Honda Cars India is all set to launch the new-generation Amaze on December 4th. The Japanese carmaker has recently revealed design sketches, showcasing a fresh new look with a dual-pod LED headlamp and a new grille inspired by the Honda City. The cabin will feature ADAS technology, and under the hood, it will retain the 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine, producing 90 bhp and 110 Nm of peak torque, with manual and CVT gearbox options.
2. Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e
Mahindra & Mahindra will unveil two new electric SUVs on November 26th – the BE 6e and XEV 9e, both based on the BE.05 and XUV.e9 concept EVs. These will be built on Mahindra’s new INGLO skateboard architecture. The BE 6e will be a mid-size electric SUV, around 4.3 meters long, while the XEV 9e will be an electric coupe SUV, competing with vehicles like the Tata Harrier EV. The BE 6e will be available with two battery options: 79 kWh and a smaller 60 kWh unit.
3. Honda Activa EV
Set to debut on November 27th, Honda has teased its upcoming electric scooter, the Activa EV. Although details are scarce, the teaser reveals LED headlamps with the Honda logo. The electric motor is expected to share components with Honda’s recently unveiled CUV e: model showcased at EICMA 2024 with mono-shock rear suspension. More details will be revealed soon.
4. Royal Enfield Classic Goan 350
Royal Enfield will soon launch a new bobber in its 350cc range, based on the Classic 350. The Classic Goan 350 is set to debut at the Royal Enfield Motoverse 2024 on November 23rd. This new motorcycle will feature significant changes, including raised ape-hanger handlebars and a 349cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine producing 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque. It will be paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
5. New-Generation KTM 390 Adventure
The new-generation KTM 390 Adventure, unveiled at EICMA 2024, will soon launch in India. Reports suggest unofficial bookings for the adventure bike have already started. The bike will be available in two variants – Adventure X (for highways) and Adventure R (for off-road enthusiasts). It will feature the same 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine as the 390 Duke, generating 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.
6. New-Generation Toyota Camry
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) will launch the new-generation Camry in India on December 11th. The 9th-generation hybrid sedan, known globally as the Camry XV80, will be sold in India via the CKD route. It will be powered by a 2.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine, paired with two electric motors, based on Toyota’s TNGA-K platform.
