Toyota Urban Cruiser: The Urban Cruiser was manufactured from 2020 to 2022, featuring a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 105 horsepower and 138Nm of torque. It is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Distinctive from the Vitara Brezza, the Urban Cruiser showcases a unique bumper and grille design.

Design and difference

Inside, the Urban Cruiser is adorned with brown seat upholstery, contrasting with the black upholstery found in the Brezza. Toyota provides both engine options across three trim levels: Mid, High, and Premium. The Mid and High trims include features such as LED lighting, 16-inch steel wheel covers, a 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, steering-mounted controls, keyless entry and start, and automatic climate control.

Features of Toyota Urban Cruiser

The Premium trim, being the most advanced, adds LED fog lights, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, cruise control, and automatic wipers. According to Toyota, the manual version of the Urban Cruiser achieves a fuel efficiency of 17.03 km/l, while the automatic variant offers 18.76 km/l, thanks to its mild-hybrid technology.

Durability and reliability

Similar to the Brezza, the Urban Cruiser is known for its ease of maintenance and reliability, with readily available spare parts and a standard warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km. Opting for a model with an extended warranty is advisable.

Additionally, the Urban Cruiser tends to have a higher resale value compared to the Vitara Brezza, making it a worthwhile investment for potential returns.
