The ZR-V hybrid is already available in markets such as the United States and China, sharing its platform with the 11th generation Civic, which was launched in 2021. It is likely that Honda will import the ZR-V to India, similar to its approach with the CR-V and Accord Hybrid. The ZR-V Hybrid is offered internationally with two distinct powertrain options: a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and an e:HEV hybrid system.
Fuel efficiency of up to 22 km per litre
It is anticipated that this vehicle could achieve a fuel efficiency of up to 22 km per litre. The hybrid variant features a 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with two electric motors, connected to an electric CVT gearbox, producing 181hp and 315nm of torque. In contrast, the petrol-only version delivers 176hp and 240nm of torque, also utilizing a CVT gearbox.
