Top 4 affordable CNG cars under 10 lakhs. These are the top cars with great features and are perfect for your budget and the environment. These can be less in the price but should be first on the bucket list.
Kia Sonet 2024
Kia is bringing another sped model with the GT Line variant. In this regard, KIA is working on a CNG option to rule the Indian market for its turbo-petrol engines. It comes with a manual-only 1.2-litre petrol unit for the 120PS 1-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which gives the option of manual and torque converter automatic.
It has been launched with a mileage of 20 km per kg at a starting price of just 10 lakhs.
Tata Altroz Racer
The 2024 Altroz Racer now also includes a HUD. However, it is not clear how big the screen is. Replacing the old 7-inch TFT in the semi-digital cluster, it gets a larger 10.25-inch fully digital driver display from the new Nexon. A 360-degree camera is one of the new features added to the equipment list of the Altroz Racer. The CNG version offers a nature-friendly option to keep the environment clean and pollution-free. It is a promising hatchback with ex-showroom prices starting at Rs 8.50 lakh and will hit the roads in September 2024.
Kia Carens 2024
In the list of upcoming company-fitted CNG cars in India, you have to include the Kia Carens, one of the most popular MUVs in the market right now. To increase the sales of the Carens MUV far better, Kia is now set to introduce a CNG version of the MUV. The Kia Carens CNG variant will be powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine that produces 138 bhp and 242 Nm of torque. The car has been on the roads since February 2024, with a mileage of 17.20 km/kg and has a seating capacity of 7 people.
Tata Nexon 2024
The Tata Nexon CNG features eco-friendly CNG technology and a smooth performance and beautiful design. Its remarkable fuel economy and low emissions are a testament to Tata’s dedication to innovation and creating a more eco-friendly driving environment. There are three different CNG capacities available for the Tata Nexon: 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5 litres. However, Tata would have benefited from a two-pedal setup with CNG power. In my opinion, Tata’s promising build quality with a mileage of 20 km/kg at just Rs 9.25 lakh makes it the best buy this year.
