The 7-seater variant of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder can be launched by mid-August this year. If the report is to be believed, apart from adding a third-row seat, no changes will be made to the design and performance of the Urban Cruiser.
In the Indian market, the price of the 5-seater Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider ranges from Rs 11.14 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh ex-showroom. If media reports are to be believed, the starting price of the new 7-seater Urban Cruiser Hyrider will be around Rs 14 lakh ex-showroom.
Features of Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder
The design of the new SUV is quite attractive. You can buy it in many color options including Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Gray, Sportin Red, Midnight Black, Cave Black, and Speedy Blue.
Apart from seating space, it also has an excellent boot space of 373 liters. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider is a hybrid car. It has 1.5-liter petrol, hybrid (petrol + electric), and CNG engine options. 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearboxes are offered with this engine. It gives a mileage of 19.39 to 27.97KM per liter.

The new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, ambient lighting, paddle shifters, head-up display, wireless phone charger, panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats.
At the same time, for the safety of the passengers, many safety features are available including 6-airbags, VSC (Vehicle Stability Control), ABS (Antilock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and all-wheel disc brakes.
In the Indian market, this SUV competes with cars like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Citroen C3 Aircross. After coming in a 7-seater option, it will compete with Mahindra Scorpio-N.
