After a long wait, Triumph has finally officially launched its new bike Daytona 660 for sale in the Indian market.
Equipped with attractive looks and a powerful engine, the starting price of this powerful sports bike has been fixed at Rs 9.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
This bike is based on the platform of another model of the company, the Trident 660. So let’s know what is special about this bike.
How is Daytona 660
This bike has a transparent windscreen with a split headlight. In this bike, the company has used the same 660 cc capacity inline three-cylinder engine which is used in Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660.
However, Daytona generates 95bhp of power at 11,250 rpm and 69Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm.

Talking about the features, Daytona has LED lights and, a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) as standard with three riding modes (Rain, Road, and Sport).
The hardware of the Daytona 660 is also quite premium. This bike has a 41 mm Showa SFF-BP upside-down (USD) fork suspension at the front and a Showa mono-shock suspension with preload adjustment at the rear. It has twin 310 mm discs at the front and 220 mm disc brakes at the rear wheel.
The company has kept the seat height of this bike at 810 mm which is quite comfortable. Its engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a torque clutch assist system.
The Daytona 660 gets a 14-liter fuel tank and a color TFT screen. Triumph has started booking this bike from today itself.
This bike is available for sale in a total of 3 colours Snowdonia White, Satin Granite, and Carnival Red.
