It consistently ranks as the second or third best-selling electric scooter in the nation. Recently, this scooter celebrated a five-year presence in the country, prompting the company to offer a complimentary extended warranty of five years or 70,000 kilometers. This promotional offer is set to conclude on January 31.
Save Rs 93,500 over 50,000 kilometers
TVS Motors has detailed the operational costs of its electric scooter on the official iQube webpage. The company highlights that the expense of running a petrol vehicle is approximately Rs 100 per liter. Consequently, operating a petrol scooter for 50,000 kilometers incurs a cost of around Rs 1 lakh. In contrast, the cost for the same distance on the iQube electric scooter is merely Rs 6,466, along with additional savings on GST and reduced service and maintenance expenses. Thus, iQube users can save Rs 93,500 over 50,000 kilometers.
7-inch TFT touchscreen
The TVS iQube electric scooter is equipped with features such as a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, a user-friendly interface, customizable infinity themes, voice assistance, Alexa integration, intuitive music player controls, over-the-air updates, fast charging capabilities with a portable charger, safety information, and options for Bluetooth and cloud connectivity, along with 32 liters of storage space.
TVS has also indicated that the cost to charge the iQube once is Rs 19. The iQube ST model achieves a full charge in 4 hours and 6 minutes, allowing for a range of up to 145 kilometers. If one travels 30 kilometers daily, the scooter would require charging twice a week, resulting in a total charging cost of Rs 37.50. This translates to an average monthly expense of Rs 150, or approximately Rs 3 per day. Furthermore, after two charges, the scooter can cover a distance of 290 kilometers, making it feasible to travel an average of 30 kilometers daily at this cost.
