Pune-based start-up company Vayve Mobility is preparing to introduce the upgraded version of its solar-powered electric car EVA. This Solar Car can be presented to the people during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 organized in New Delhi coming next month. This is India’s first solar electric car which was first introduced in Auto Expo 2023.
Compact in Size
The company says that this car has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the city. The size of this car is such that this car can be easily parked even in less space.
Range and charging time
The company claims that this car can cover a distance of up to 250 km on a single charge and with the help of solar panels installed on the roof, this car can run up to 3 thousand kilometers in a year. This car supports ultra fast charging and gives a driving range of up to 50 km in just five minutes of charge.
Solar Car Features
This solar electric car can accelerate from 0 to 40 in just five seconds and the top speed of this car is 70kmph. Another special thing about this car is that the running cost of this car is also quite high, it costs only 0.50 paise to drive this car for one kilometre.
Talking about the features, this car will have special features like smartphone connectivity, remote monitoring, and over the air updates.

How much will be the price of this solar car, at present the company has not shared any official information about this nor has it been revealed when the upgraded version of this car will be launched. No details related to the price of this car have been revealed at the moment but it is expected that the price of this car can be 10 lakhs (ex-showroom).
