Vietnam’s electric vehicle manufacturer Vinfast is all set to enter the Indian market. The company will make its official debut with the India Mobility Expo 2025. It announced the construction of a new facility outside Chennai in February and even laid the foundation stone for it. Now it is set to introduce its product lineup at the upcoming motor show.
Vinfast to Launch EVs in India
The automaker is expected to offer a full range of vehicles from the VF e34 to its flagship Vf7 SUV. It is also expected to announce its showroom and sales scheme, which is expected to start operations in the calendar year 2025. Like BYD, its entire lineup is electric. It will be the second all-electric manufacturer to open shop in India.
The EV segment priced above Rs 17 lakh is expected to grow rapidly in the next two years. Vinfast will be one of the first to benefit from this boom. The VF e34 will be its first model. It will compete with cars like the Maruti E Vitara, Hyundai Creta EV, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE6, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, Honda Elevate EV, and Skoda Kushak EV.
These car companies are participating in the event
Many electric vehicle companies are going to launch their amazing electric cars and SUVs in the Auto Expo Bharat Mobility Expo to be held in India. Talking about the list of companies that are going to participate in this auto event, the names of Toyota, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata Motors, Skoda and Volkswagen, Isuzu, Kia, and JSW MG Motor India have been confirmed. Also, luxury car brands like Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and BMW have confirmed their participation in it.
On the other hand, Vietnamese EV-only brand Vinfast will also be a part of this event. The company is planning to enter the Indian market with this event. The company will present its lineup at the event. At the same time, Chinese all-EV brand BYD will also introduce its cars and SUVs.
