VinFast VF 3: VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has showcased a range of its automobiles at the recently concluded India Mobility Global Expo 2025. Among these, the VinFast VF 6 and VinFast VF 7 are anticipated to be launched in India during this year’s festive season.
Accommodates four passengers
Furthermore, the company has announced plans to introduce its most affordable electric vehicle, the VinFast VF 3, in India by 2026. This model is designed to be compact, resembling the Tata Nano, yet it comfortably accommodates four passengers.
Specifications of the VinFast VF 3
The specifications of the VinFast VF 3, as available in the global market, reveal a boxy exterior featuring two doors on each side, similar to the MG Comet EV. The vehicle is equipped with halogen headlights, a blacked-out grille adorned with chrome accents, and halogen tail lights complemented by chrome detailing. Its bumpers exhibit an all-black finish, enhanced with body cladding.
Inside, the cabin of the VinFast VF 3 showcases a robust design, featuring a two-spoke steering wheel and a 10-inch floating touchscreen that also serves as the driver’s display. The global variant boasts an all-black interior theme and four seating positions, with the front seats capable of folding to provide additional space for rear passengers. Additional amenities include manual air conditioning and front power windows.
In terms of safety, the vehicle is equipped with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rear parking sensor. The global model is powered by an 18.64 kWh battery pack, delivering an output of 41 PS and 110 Nm of torque.
It offers a range of up to 215 km on a single charge and can be charged from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes. While the pricing for the VinFast VF 3 will be disclosed post-launch, it is expected to start around Rs 7 lakh, given its features.
