Bajaj Freedom CNG Bike: The company Bajaj Auto has done what no one in the world has done till date. Bajaj Auto has today officially launched the world’s first CNG bike Bajaj Freedom for sale.

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari was also present at the launch of this historic motorcycle, who called it a game changer. Equipped with attractive looks and sporty design, the starting price of this bike has been fixed at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom).

How is the world’s first CNG BIKE:

Bajaj Auto has launched this bike in the commuter segment. But the team has done a great job on the look and design of this bike.

The first question that will come to your mind when you see this bike at first glance is the CNG cylinder. Looking at this bike, you may not even be able to guess where the company has placed the CNG cylinder in this bike. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also praised this.

In terms of design, Bajaj has used a minimal but strong design language for the Freedom 125. It has a fully LED headlight and taillight as well as halogen indicators.

It gets an instrument cluster with a monochrome LCD display that also supports Bluetooth connectivity. Bajaj has provided a common flap on the fuel tank, which can be opened to refill both petrol and CNG.

Where is the CNG cylinder

Bajaj Auto claims that this bike has the longest seat in the segment (785MM) which covers the fuel tank to a large extent in the front. The CNG tank has been given space under this seat. In this, green color represents CNG and orange color represents petrol.

This bike has a robust trellis frame which makes the bike light as well as strong. The company says that this bike has passed 11 different tests of the industry which make it completely safe.

This bike has been tested by trampling it on the front, side, top and even under a truck.

performance and mileage:

In the world’s first CNG bike Bajaj Freedom, the company has given a petrol engine of 125 cc capacity. This engine generates 9.5PS of power and 9.7Nm of torque.

In this, the company has given a petrol fuel tank of 2 liters and a CNG tank of 2 kg capacity. The company claims that this bike gives a driving range of up to 330 km in a full tank (petrol + CNG).

Talking about mileage, this bike gives a mileage of 102 km in 1 kg CNG and 67 km in one liter of petrol.

Mode will change with a switch

This bike can be driven in both petrol and CNG mode. For this, the company has given a switch on the handlebar. In which there is a button to change the mode. That is, by just pressing a button, you will be able to change from petrol to CNG mode.

The CNG cylinder given in the bike weighs 16 kg, while after filling the CNG it becomes 18 kg. The total weight of Bajaj Freedom is 147 kg, which is about 16 kg more than CT125X.

Variants and price:

Bajaj Freedom has been introduced by the company in a total of three variants. Which come with both disc brake and drum brake braking system.

This bike is available for sale in a total of 7 colors. Which includes Caribbean Blue, Ebony Black-Grey, Pewter Grey-Black, Racing Red, Cyber White, Pewter Grey-Yellow, Ebony Black-Red color.
