Mahindra XUV.e8 : Mahindra is going to make the biggest launch on August 15. The Indian automaker will launch the much-awaited Thar Rocks on this day. Apart from this, the company is testing the XUV.e8, the first product of its XUV.e range. Recently revealed spy shots show that it is ready for production.
XUV.e8 close to launch
The mahindra is developing both the XUV.e and BE EV series, After the XUV.e8 concept was introduced two years ago, it was said that the production model would be launched in December 2024. We expect is that the model is arrive before the end of this calendar year or early 2025. The Mahindra XUV.e8 will compete with upcoming models in the midsize electric SUV space. cars like the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti Suzuki eVX and Tata Curve EV at included.
Design Updates
New images of the production-ready prototype have surfaced, further emphasising its resemblance to the IC-engined XUV700. The Mahindra XUV.e8 will retain many design elements from the concept. In particular, its interior is similar to the XUV700. The images revealed show that it has a closed grille, vertical LED light bars with LED daytime running lights, and LED headlamps integrated into the bumper.
Interior and Features
The interior of the XUV.e8 will feature a triple-screen setup, including a central touchscreen for infotainment, an all-digital instrument console, and an additional screen for the front passenger. The cabin will also get a new two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel
Charging and Range
The XUV.e8 is likely to be powered by an 80 kWh battery pack, which will potentially offer a range of over 450 km on a single charge. Its low and mid-spec trims may get a smaller battery.
