Yamaha has just introduced its new FZ S Hybrid bike in India. It is the priciest bike in the FZ series, but it stands out from others due to its features and technology. If you plan to purchase this bike, then let’s see what new features have been included in this bike.
New Features
First of all, talking about the new features added to it, the FZ S Hybrid has an auto start-stop system, which shuts down the engine during idling and turns it back on when the clutch is pulled. This saves fuel. Apart from this, a silent start system and a 4.2-inch TFT screen have also been provided, which supports Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

Design
The design of the Yamaha FZ S Hybrid is similar to the standard FZS FI V4, but some changes have been made to it. The turn indicators are integrated into the faux intakes of the fuel tank extension, making the bike look even more clean and stylish. The bike is available in two new shades – Racing Blue and Cyan Metallic Grey, which come with new graphics.
Engine
If we talk about its engine, the FZ S Hybrid has a 149cc air-cooled engine, which follows OBD-2B emission norms. Apart from this, Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology is also provided, which provides battery-assisted acceleration. However, the power and torque output are the same as before – 12.2 bhp and 13.3 Nm.
Comfort
Yamaha has slightly tweaked the handlebar position of the FZ S Hybrid, which increases comfort during long rides. The position of the horn and other buttons has also been improved so that they can be used easily even while wearing gloves. The fuel tank lid has been made hinged, which increases practicality during refueling.
