Yulu Miracle Electric Motorcycle: Yulu, the country’s shared EV mobility tech company, has launched two new electric motorcycles in India. These company models, developed by Chetak Technologies Limited, are Miracle GR and Dex GR. This company is Bajaj’s partner in the EV segment.

The new Miracle GR and DeX electric bike models are built on the same platform and underpinnings. They have telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Drum brakes have been provided on both wheels. The new Yulu e-bike gets an electronically limited top speed of 25 mph.

Yulu Miracle GR and DeX GR get a hub-mounted motor. It has an LED headlight, LED tail lamp and a centre stand. A rear rack has been added to the DeX GR e-bike, which has a payload capacity of 15 kg. Yulu has already started selling DeX GR e-bikes, which are sold wherever the company has outlets.

Over 50,000 electric vehicles built on Yulu’s shared platform have been delivered this year. Yulu claims to offer mobility solutions on its platform.

The company is setting up battery-swapping stations.

Yulu has also highlighted its collaboration with Magna for a battery-swapping network. Yulu and Magna are joint venture companies of Yuma Energy, which provides ‘battery-as-a-service’ for electric two-wheelers. Magna invested $77 million in September to set up this joint venture. It has about 100 battery-swapping stations in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi. The company plans to increase the number of these stations to 500 by the year 2025.

Yulu App

People can use the Yulu app to find and use this e-bike. A helmet and driving license are not required to ride this e-bike. Yulu has said that by using the Yulu app, you can locate the Yulu vehicle near you, and to unlock it, you have to scan the QR code on the bike panel. Also, after finishing the ride, the user must reach the Yulu zone to park, lock the bike, and tap ‘End’ on the app.
