Royal Enfield will soon launch its first electric bike in India, know bike details

Royal Enfield Flying Flea: Royal Enfield has launched its first flying flea electric car in India. The electric motorcycle was first introduced at the EICMA 2024 Motor Show in Milan, Italy. Royal Enfield’s first electric bike looks very glamorous to look at. Will it perform the same as its look, let’s know about it and when it can be launched in India.

Design

The Royal Enfield Flying Flee C6 is given a unique retro-roadster design, inspired by the World War II Flying Flea motorcycle. The motorcycle has a round LED indicator with LED headlights. The girder fork is unique to a modern bike with a slender teardrop-shaped “tank” and a scooped single-piece seat. The rear seat can be mounted just like the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. It has a battery pack and a cooling fin under the tank. It has a stunning look with braised rear fenders, fender-mounted tail lights and indicators at the rear.

Battery and base

Royal Enfield has not disclosed the specifications of its first electric motorcycle. We expect the electric motorcycle to have the potential to deliver the equivalent performance of a 250-300cc ICE bike. Its suspension unit has a girder fork and a monoshock. The bike has disc brakes and 19-inch alloy wheels on both sides. Its rear-wheel is powered by chain drive.

Features

The Royal Enfield Flying Flee C6 has a round TFT instrument console similar to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, with information on speed, odometer, trip metre, charge status, range and more. Its console also supports smartphone connectivity. The flying flea also has a keyless ignition and an emergency Defence switch located on the tank.

Price and rivals

The ex-showroom price of the Royal Enfield Flying Fly C6 is expected to be up to Rs 2.5 lakh in the Indian market It will be manufactured at Royal Enfield’s EV factory in Walam Vadagal, Tamil Nadu. This electric bike is not going to face direct competition from anyone, but it could compete with the Ola Roadster Pro and Ultraviolet F77 after its launch.
