Hyundai Creta: The SUV, which is very popular among Indian customers, has now come with new prices. The company has increased its price by up to Rs 13,000 depending on the variant. After the price hike, the starting ex-showroom price of the new Hyundai Creta is Rs 11 lakh, which goes up to Rs 20.42 lakh. In less than 9 years, 12.80 lakh Creta vehicles have been sold.
The new Creta facelift is increasing this sale even more. The company has launched the new Creta facelift with major changes, the biggest highlight of which is the Advanced Driver Assistant System i.e. ADAS. With this system, the company has given more than 70 safety features to the SUV.
What’s new
The face of the 2024 Hyundai Creta has changed a lot, including a larger grille, updated projector LED headlights, H-shaped DRLs, and a new connected LED taillamp setup. Apart from a differently designed bumper and a spoiler on top, a revised tailgate has also been seen here.
The company has made this SUV available in 7 variants – E, EX, S, S Optional, SX, SX Tech, and SX Optional. Customers have 6 monotone and one dual-tone color options to choose from, of which the Robust Emerald Pearl color is new. The company claims that the new Creta will give a mileage of up to 21.8 km/liter.
Feature-rich cabin
The cabin of Hyundai’s new Creta is now full of high-tech features. The SUV has been given two new 10.25-inch screens, one for the infotainment system and the other for the fully digital instrument cluster.
New design elements have also been given on its dashboard, which gives it a new look. To give a new look to the entire cabin, the SUV has been given new upholstery which makes it more attractive than before. To give a luxurious vibe to the cabin, the SUV also gets multi-colored ambient lighting.
How powerful is the engine
The 2024 Hyundai Creta comes with three engine options, including the existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The SUV gets a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine which is also found in the latest generation Verna.
The first two engines produce 113 bhp and 114 bhp respectively, while they come with 6-speed manual, 6-speed IVT and 6-speed automatic transmission options. The turbo petrol engine is quite powerful and generates 157 bhp with a peak torque of 253 Nm. The company has offered only a 7-speed DCT transmission with it.
Safety features are also strong
Apart from Level 2 ADAS, the new Creta SUV has dual-zone climate control, 19 connected features, 360 degree camera, 6 airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, 360 degree camera, and many high-tech features.
The company has also paid special attention to the strength of the new SUV and its body has become more rigid than before. With these features, traveling in the 2024 Hyundai Creta is now going to be safer for people than the previous model.
