Maruti Swift Price Hike: The prices of India’s most loved hatchback Maruti Swift have changed again. The country’s leading automobile company Maruti Suzuki has recently increased the prices of this popular car. The prices of some selected variants have increased by up to ₹ 5,000. Increased prices of Maruti Swift
Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of its most popular hatchback Swift by up to ₹ 5,000. This increase has been done only on variants with AMT gearboxes. These include VXi AMT, VXi (O) AMT, ZXi AMT, and ZXi + AMT, whose prices have increased by a uniform ₹ 5,000. This is the maximum price increase.
Along with this, there has been no change in the prices of variants like Swift LXi MT, VXi MT, VXi (O) MT, ZXi MT, ZXi (O) MT, VXi CNG MT, VXi (O) CNG MT, and ZXi CNG MT. Thus, Maruti Suzuki Swift has now become costlier by ₹ 5,000 and now its ex-showroom price starts from ₹ 6.49 lakh and goes up to ₹ 9.64 lakh ex-showroom.
Maruti Swift Features and Safety
Talking about the features of the new Maruti Swift, it has features like a 6-speaker Arkamys-tuned audio system (including two tweeters), automatic AC with rear vents, wireless phone charging, 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, cruise control, push-button start/stop and connected car technology.
Talking about the safety features the Maruti Swift, it has safety features like six airbags (standard), an electronic stability program (ESP), hill-hold assist, rear parking sensor, rear parking camera, and ISOFIX child seat anchorage.
Engine and mileage of Maruti Swift
The new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift gets a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that generates 82 PS and 112 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed MT or AMT transmission. At the same time, with CNG, this engine gives less output which is 69 PS and 102 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only.
The claimed mileage of the 2024 Maruti Swift is 24.80 kmpl with petrol MT, 25.75 kmpl with petrol AMT, and 32.85 km/kg with CNG.
