Maiya Samman Yojana: Girls and women from affluent and employed families are being omitted from the beneficiary list of the Chief Minister Maiya Samman Yojana. In the initial phase, the names of 52,293 beneficiaries from the district have been removed. Women from families exceeding the government-established criteria will not receive benefits from the scheme.

Names of 52,293 beneficiaries from the district have been removed

This is the reason for the simultaneous exclusion of 52,293 beneficiaries. A screening process has been implemented across the state to ensure that only women and girls who meet the specified criteria can benefit from the program.

Check wheather you are eligible or not

The total number of beneficiaries in the district was 201,796. By December, all beneficiaries had received their payments under the scheme. However, from January to March, data for only 149,293 beneficiaries has been recorded. The selection process for the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana was conducted based on state criteria, where bank accounts, Aadhar numbers, and other documentation were verified before finalizing the list.

According to media report, screening has been conducted in all districts of the state, revealing that eight to ten lakh beneficiaries were deemed ineligible. Consequently, all ineligible beneficiaries were removed from the list, and payments to their bank accounts were halted.

They can be disqualified

Among those excluded from the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana are numerous individuals whose husbands or fathers hold government positions. After the scheme’s initiation, they submitted applications, which were approved at the block and district levels, leading to payments being deposited into their accounts. However, following the issuance of new government guidelines, it became evident that many would be disqualified.
