The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh can announce an increase of DA by 4 per cent. It will be like a big gift for the employees before Diwali. After this, DA will increase to 54 per cent. State employees’ benefits from the DA will be improved, and its rates will be considered effective from July 1, 2024. About 28 lakh employees and pensioners will benefit from it, which can be a boon. Also, about 8 lakh employees can get bonus benefits during the festive season. The government can transfer about Rs 7,000 as a bonus to the employees. At the same time, there is a possibility of increasing the burden of about Rs 3 thousand crore on the government due to DA and bonuses.

Central employees will also increase.

The Modi government at the Center can also increase the dearness allowance of central employees by up to 3 per cent. This gift is expected to be given on Diwali’s occasion. After the increase, DA will become 53 per cent. However, central employees currently receive 50 percent DA. Now, everyone is eagerly waiting for this increase.
