7th pay commission: Now the festive season is going on, in which central employees and pensioners are going to get good news soon. The Modi government at the center is going to open the treasury box for central employees any day now. The government is now going to increase the dearness allowance i.e. DA soon.

If the government takes this decision, it will be like a booster dose. It is believed that about one crore families can benefit from this. It is expected that the government is going to increase the DA by 4 percent. After this, a bumper increase will be seen in the salary of central employees. The date of increasing DA has not been officially announced by the government yet, but such a claim is being made in media reports.

There will be a huge increase in the DA of employees

If the DA of central employees is increased by 4 percent by the central government, then it will increase to 54 percent. Currently, central employees are getting the benefit of 50 percent DA. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the DA hike, which is now going to end soon.

Last time, a 4% DA hike was announced in the month of March. Its rates were considered effective from January 1, 2024. After this hike, there will be a huge increase in the salary of central employees, which will be a great thing for everyone. As per the rules of the Seventh Pay Commission, DA is increased twice every year.

The government has given two big shocks

The central government has already given two big shocks to the employees. It has been made clear by the government that it will not give 18 months’ DA arrears to the employees and will not even constitute the 8th Pay Commission. The Modi government did not send the DA arrears money from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.

Since then, central employees were demanding this. The government has completely refused to give it. At the same time, the government has also given a big shock on the formation of the 8th Pay Commission. The government is not going to form a new pay commission.
