The fitment factor will decide your salary.
The 8th Pay Commission will increase the salary on the basis of fitment factor. Fitment factor is a multiplier. This will be used to multiply the existing salary. Do you know that the fitment factor in the 7th Pay Commission was 2.57. At that time, the minimum salary of the employees was Rs 7000, which was increased to Rs 18,000.
This time it is expected to keep the fitment factor up to 2.86. After its implementation, the minimum basic salary of the employees is Rs 18000, it can increase to Rs 51,480. Apart from the salary of the employees, the income of the pensioners will also increase. If the new fitment factor becomes 2.86, then the minimum pension amount will be Rs 10000.
When will the 8th Pay Commission be implemented?
