The Aadhaar card has now become one of the most important documents. It is required for availing benefits of government schemes, getting a SIM card, and opening a bank account. Many people received their Aadhaar cards a long time ago, and there were some mistakes in their name or date of birth. Such individuals can update their Aadhaar cards for free until December 14. After this date, a fee may be charged for making updates.

Why is it Necessary to Update Aadhaar?

UIDAI, the organization responsible for issuing Aadhaar, has advised everyone to update their Aadhaar information if it has been more than 10 years since the last update. You can update your Aadhaar details such as name, address, or date of birth for free until December 14, 2024. This process is completely online, allowing you to make changes from the comfort of your home.
