Aadhaar: The government has introduced the Aadhaar Good Governance Portal to streamline the process of authentication requests. As stated by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), this initiative aims to enhance the user-friendliness of Aadhaar, thereby facilitating easier access to services for citizens.
The portal was inaugurated by S. Krishnan, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, with the presence of UIDAI CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar, the architect of Aadhaar, and NIC Director General Indra Pal Singh Sethi.

The Aadhaar Good Governance Portal will offer a variety of services and provide comprehensive guidance to users, including application procedures and standard operating protocols for Aadhaar authentication where verification is necessary.
Realm of good governance and enhance the ease of living
Additionally, the service of face authentication will be incorporated into the customer applications of private entities, allowing for verification to occur at any time and from any location. Krishnan noted that the establishment of this platform is anticipated to expedite the introduction of additional use cases in the realm of good governance and enhance the ease of living. According to the official announcement, the expansion of Aadhaar verification is expected to simplify life and provide seamless access to new services tailored to individual preferences.
Furthermore, the ministry indicated that the recent amendment allows Aadhaar number holders to access services effortlessly across various sectors, including hospitality, healthcare, credit rating agencies, e-commerce, educational institutions, and aggregator service providers.
In addition, service providers will find this initiative beneficial for numerous applications, such as employee attendance tracking, customer onboarding, e-KYC verification, and exam registration, among others.
