By changing the digital toll payment system, the toll transaction process is also expected to speed up. Let us tell you that if you pass through the toll without Fastag, then you may have to pay double. In such a situation, if you have not yet got Fastag installed in your vehicle, get it installed immediately.

Exemptions will be available at these places

While giving information, it was told that the new rule to be implemented from April 1 is not applicable to school buses, motor vehicles and state transport buses. All these vehicles will get exemption from Fastag at five major places entering Mumbai, which include toll plazas of Mulund West, Mulund East, Airoli, Dahisar and Vashi. Fastag can also be purchased through Paytm, Amazon or any banking app or website.

Pay special attention to these things

For your information, let us tell you that to buy Fastag, you will be able to recharge easily through Phone Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay or any payment app. Before using it, you should have the necessary information about this that if your Fastag is blacklisted for any reason and you get it recharged, then it will take some time for the status to be updated. Even if the status is not updated, payment is not deducted from Fastag and you may have to pay double toll.
