If a person wants to get employment related to cow rearing in Kannauj, then an important scheme has come up for him in the Animal Husbandry Department. The name of this scheme is Mini Nandini Farmer Scheme. The last date to apply is November 30. In this, the beneficiary will be selected on the basis of lottery. Under this scheme, the beneficiary will be given a subsidy of 50 per cent i.e. Rs 11.80 lakh for employment costing Rs 23.60 lakh.
What’s the plan
Constant efforts are being made to conserve cows. Now, along with cow rearing, the cattle rearers are being given the gift of Mini Nandini Krishak Samridhi Yojana to move forward in the dairy sector. Under this, cow rearing will have to start dairy with a maximum of 10 indigenous cows. Cow breeds like Gir, Sahiwal etc. have been included in the indigenous breed. At the same time, the estimated cost of a cow is assumed to be Rs 1,00,000. The total cost of starting a dairy industry with 10 cows is Rs. 23. Rs 60 lakh has been invested.
Application Conditions
To apply for this scheme, it is mandatory to be a local resident of the district. Aadhar card and identity card should be there. There should be four bighas of land for fodder for cows and one bigha for unit establishment. There should be 3 years experience in cattle rearing and bovine animal husbandry. Farmers who have taken benefits under the Kamdhenu, Micro Kamdhenu or Mukhyamantri Swadeshi Go-Samvardhan Yojana operated earlier under the scheme will not be eligible for this scheme.
How much grant will be received
The total cost of this scheme will be 23.60 lakhs. At the same time, 50 percent subsidy will be given to the beneficiary by the department in the form of about 11 lakh 80 thousand rupees.
