New Aadhar app: In today’s time, Aadhaar card has become the most important document. This card is required for every government and non-government work. About 95 percent of people in India have Aadhaar card. Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI issues a 12 digit Aadhaar card to every citizen.

Physical Aadhaar card

Now you will not need to carry a physical Aadhaar card or keep a photocopy of it to prove your identity or to avail the benefits of government schemes. The government has launched a new Aadhaar app. Through this, users will be able to verify their identity digitally.

Features like QR code

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that features like face recognition and QR code have been added to the new Aadhaar app. With this, users will be able to share Aadhaar card information by scanning the QR code like UPI payment. With the arrival of the new Aadhaar app, there is no need to update the old card.

Facility to share customized details

This app has another feature. Users will be able to share their customized details from the app. That means you will be able to control how many details of your Aadhaar (like only Aadhaar number, address and photo) you want to share. The new Aadhaar app has been launched on Google Play Store under the name AadhaarFaceRD. Currently its access is limited. UIDAI says that the app will be further improved based on the feedback of users. After which this app will become accessible to everyone.
