Big news for bank account holders. All banks periodically enhance their services to improve transaction efficiency and ensure security. The largest bank in the country is scheduled to undergo maintenance for two days in March, with details available on their official website. On March 9, several services (HDFC Bank Alert) will be temporarily unavailable.

NEFT transactions, mutual fund transactions, and credit card transactions will be affected tomorrow, leading to potential issues for customers attempting online transactions. The services will be offline for a few hours. Additionally, since March 9 falls on a Sunday, customers won’t be able to complete related tasks at the bank.

It’s recommended to finish any urgent matters ahead of time. However, ATM cash withdrawals will still be operational, and customers can continue to use UPI for transactions.

What services will be unavailable and when?

As per HDFC Bank’s official website, the NEFT transaction service will be down from 12:45 AM to 5:00 AM on March 9, resulting in a disruption of 4 hours and 15 minutes. Mutual fund transactions will also be unavailable on the new net banking and mobile banking app for a complete 4 hours from 1 AM to 5 AM.

Credit card transactions will face a disruption of 2 hours and 30 minutes from 5:00 AM to 7:30 AM. After these times, services will resume as usual.
