According to the Reserve Bank of India holiday list, banks will remain closed in some states on Friday, i.e. 15 November, on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti / Kartik Purnima. The Reserve Bank of India publishes state-wise regional and national holidays on its website. For your information, let us tell you that banks are closed on Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
In which state will the banks remain closed?
According to the list of holidays of the Reserve Bank of India, private and government banks will remain closed in some states on November 15 due to the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. Apart from this, there will also be a holiday in schools, colleges and government offices.
On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, banks will also remain closed in Mizoram, Maharashtra, Hyderabad-Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, West Bengal, New Delhi, Srinagar, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Jharkhand. If you plan to go to the bank, do not go tomorrow. No work will be done due to the bank being closed.
Apart from these holidays, banks will also remain closed on weekends, i.e., on Sundays on November 17 and 24 and second and fourth Saturdays on November 23.
