  • All banks in the country will be closed on 1 December (Sunday) due to the weekly holiday.
  • Similarly, banks will remain closed on 8 December (Sunday), 14 December (Second Saturday), 15 December (Sunday), 22
  • December (Sunday), 28 December (Fourth Saturday), and 29 December (Sunday).
  • On 25 December (Wednesday), banks across India will be closed for Christmas.

Regional Bank Holidays in December 2024

  • 3 December (Friday): Banks in Goa will be closed for the feast of St. Francis Xavier.
  • 12 December (Tuesday): Banks in Meghalaya will be closed for Pa-Togan Nengminja Sangma.
  • 18 December (Wednesday): Banks in Meghalaya will be closed on the death anniversary of U Soso Tham.
  • 19 December (Thursday): Banks in Goa will be closed for Goa Liberation Day.
  • 24 December (Thursday): Banks in Mizoram, Nagaland, and Meghalaya will be closed for Christmas Eve.
  • 26 December (Thursday): Banks in Mizoram, Nagaland, and Meghalaya will be closed for Christmas celebrations.
  • 27 December (Friday): Banks in Nagaland will remain closed for extended Christmas celebrations.
  • 30 December (Monday): Banks in Meghalaya will be closed for U Kiang Nangbah Day.
  • 31 December (Tuesday): Banks in Mizoram and Sikkim will be closed for New Year’s Eve/Losong/Namsong.
