What is ‘Mukhyamantri Swayam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana’?

The Bihar government started the Mukhyamantri Swayam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana in 2016. The main goal of this scheme is to provide financial help to unemployed youth who could not continue their studies after passing 12th. Under this scheme, the government gives Rs 1,000 per month to eligible youth, helping them develop skills and start a job or self-employment.

Eligibility for Bihar Unemployment Allowance Scheme

  • The applicant should not have any government or private job.

How to Apply for Bihar Unemployment Allowance Scheme?

The application process is completely online. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Visit the official website of the Bihar government.
  • Click on “New Applicant Registration”.
  • Enter your name, email ID, Aadhaar number, and mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP sent to your mobile and email to complete the registration.
  • After registration, you will get a username and Password.

Step 2: Fill out the Online Application Form

  • Log in with your User Name and Password.
  • Click on the SHA Yojana (Self-Help Allowance Scheme) form.
  • Fill in all the required details and accept the declaration.
  • Submit the form and note down the Acknowledgment Number.
  • Download and print the PDF copy of the filled form.

Step 3: Document Verification

  • Visit your District Registration and Counseling Center (DRCC) for document verification.
  • Show your original documents to the officials.
  • After verification, your application will be forwarded for approval.

Step 4: Check Application Status

If you want to check your application status, please do the following:

  • Go to the official website.
  • Click on “Application Status”.
  • Enter your Registration ID or Aadhaar number.
  • Enter your date of birth and Captcha, then submit.
  • Your application status will appear on the screen.

How to Receive the Allowance?
