Provides a monthly assistance of Rs 1000
Through the Chief Minister Nishchay Self Help Scheme, the government provides a monthly assistance of Rs 1000 to unemployed individuals who have completed their 12th grade. The Bihar Unemployment Allowance Scheme aims to offer financial support to the unemployed youth of the state. Launched in 2016, the Chief Minister’s Unemployment Allowance Scheme is available to youth aged between 20 and 25 years who have completed their 12th grade but are unable to pursue further studies. Eligible unemployed youth receive Rs 1000 per month from the Bihar government.
Duration of two years
In Bihar, this unemployment allowance is disbursed at a rate of Rs 1000 per month, enabling youth to seek employment opportunities while benefiting from the allowance. This financial support will be available for a duration of two years under the Chief Minister’s Self Help Group initiative.
If you have completed your 12th grade and are currently unemployed, you may qualify for the unemployment allowance of Rs 1000 per month from the government, which will be provided for a total of 24 months. During this period, youth are encouraged to explore suitable employment options.
