Digital Payment: BHIM 3.0 Launched: National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has launched a new version of BHIM payments app BHIM 3.0 with several advanced features. That is, in its updated version, you will get many such features which were not included in the old app. These features have been included in the new version to improve the user experience and make the management of expenses easier.

Now new languages ​​have been added to the BHIM app and now it supports more than 15 Indian languages. Apart from this, it has also been optimized for low-speed internet.This will make it easier to transact even in weak networks. After the new update, users have been given new tools to manage and split their expenses. Apart from this, Family Mode, Spend Analytics and Built-in Task Assistant have been provided in the new update, which gives the user information about pending bills and low balance etc. Talking about merchants, it has an in-app payment solution, which gets integrated with the online merchant platform. This eliminates the need for customers to go to any third-party apps to make payments.

When will the rollout start?

This update will be rolled out in phases on different platforms and will be rolled out across the country by next month. Let us tell you that the BHIM app was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2016. It was launched to promote digital payments in the country. Let us tell you that there has been a huge jump in digital payment transactions in the country. Digital payment transactions including UPI in the financial year 2024-25 have recorded over 18,120 crores till January this year, with the value of transactions crossing Rs 2,330 lakh crore.
