What is the whole matter?

Actually this new traffic rule has been implemented by the Andhra Pradesh government after the order of the High Court in Visakhapatnam. Under this new rule. now the person sitting behind while driving a bike will also have to compulsorily wear a helmet.

The government says that we have taken this decision with the aim of reducing the increasing road accidents in the city. If this rule is violated by anyone. then a fine or legal action can be taken against the person concerned.

This step has been taken giving priority to the safety of the people. so that the injuries and mortality rate in road accidents can be reduced. Now strict inspections will also be done by the traffic police to ensure compliance with this rule throughout the city.

These rules have to be followed compulsorily

Speed Limit: Speed limit has been reduced in many areas. If you do not follow the new speed limit, you will have to pay a fine.

Helmet and Seatbelt: The use of helmet on two-wheelers and seatbelt in four-wheelers has been made mandatory. You may have to pay a heavy fine for violation.

Use of mobile phone: Now more strict rules will be applicable on using mobile phone while driving. Doing this can also lead to heavy fine and license suspension.

Jumping red light: Now a stricter fine will be imposed for jumping red light.

Overloading: Overloading of vehicles will attract higher penalties and the vehicles can also be confiscated.
