PIB issues warning about the e-PAN Card scam
The Press Information Bureau has alerted people regarding the e-PAN Card scam. PIB stated that if you have received any email regarding downloading the e-PAN Card, you need to be very cautious. This could be a scammer’s trick.
According to PIB, no official email is sent regarding the e-PAN Card.
If you have received any email about downloading the e-PAN Card, delete it. Do not click on any links included with it and do not download any attachments. A single mistake could make you a victim of a phishing attack.
