BSNL 4G Network: BSNL has made full preparations to roll out 4G service across the country. Very soon, the government telecom company BSNL is going to give tough competition to private telecom operators Airtel, Jio and Vi (Vodafone-Idea).

Since the plans of private telecom companies have become more expensive, it has been observed that most users are gravitating towards BSNL. This is because, BSNL’s recharge plans are cheaper. Once the BSNL 4G service is implemented nationwide, people will experience improved network connectivity. Currently, the entire country is receiving 3G service, not 4G.

According to the report coming out, the government has prepared a foolproof plan to revive BSNL. To start BSNL’s 4G service, new towers will now be installed on a large scale, under which the government is going to release a fund of Rs 6000 crore. The Department of Telecommunications may soon get permission from the cabinet to do so.

Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) and ITI are producing equipment for BSNL. Both companies have received payment of 13 thousand crores so far.
Six thousand crores are pending. The government has invested Rs 3.22 lakh crore so far.
