According to a report, BSNL can introduce 5G service in India by the end of the year 2025. Reports suggest that BSNL has the potential to launch its 4G service by March 2025.

According to an official, the 4G core technology that operates BSNL’s 4G network will also power the 5G network. It is a cloud-based architecture.

It will work with any hardware. The servers that handle the core will remain unchanged. In Haryana, the Telecom Minister recently made a 5G call with the same core on a live 4G network.

Let us tell you that BSNL has installed 15,000 4G towers in circles like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, UP West, and Haryana. There is a plan to increase this number to 80,000 by the end of October. We will install the remaining 21,000 towers by March next year.
