PM Kisan Yojana

PM Kisan Yojana is one of the major schemes of the Central Government. Under this scheme, farmers of the country receive assistance of Rs. 6,000 each year in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each. This money is sent directly to the farmers’ account through DBT transfer. This benefit is available to those farmers who have land up to 2 hectares and who are Indian citizens.

According to the rules of PM Kisan Yojana, the first installment is released between April and July, the second installment from August to November, and the third installment from December to March, so now the next installment will be released in the new year 2025.

Can both husband and wife or father-son take advantage of PM KISAN Yojana?

According to the rule of PM Kisan Yojana, both farmer husband and wife in a family cannot take advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana together. If both husband and wife apply together in this scheme, then the application of one of them will be canceled.

Since, according to the rules of the government, only one member of the family can get the benefit of the PM Kisan schedule. If the spouse, father, son, or more than one member of the family has gotten the benefit, then the amount can be recovered from them. The central government has also clarified many times that the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana is given to only one person in a farmer family.
