There has been no change in the interest rates on deposits in the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF). For the financial year 2024-25, the interest rate on EPF has been retained at 8.25%. In this regard, the Central Board of Trustees of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) met on Friday, February 28, in which this decision was taken. The board decided to maintain the current rate, which has brought relief to crores of employees.

First of all, go to the official website of EPFO.
Select the ‘For Employees’ option in the ‘Our Services’ section.
After this click on the ‘Member Passbook’ option.
Log in by entering your UAN number and password.
After logging in, you will get complete information about your PF balance and deposit amount in the passbook.
Information can also be obtained through SMS
If you want to know the balance of your PF (Provident Fund) account, then you can also know it through SMS. For this, you have to send an SMS from your registered mobile number.
Send an SMS from your registered mobile number to 7738299899.
The format of the SMS should be as follows: EPFOHO UAN
For example, if you want information in English, type “EPFOHO UAN ENG” and send it.
If you want information in Marathi, send “EPFOHO UAN MAR”.

Know your PF balance by missed call, know the easy way
If you do not want to send an SMS, you can get the details of your PF account by just giving a missed call.
Give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number. The call will get disconnected automatically and the PF balance details will be sent to your mobile via an SMS shortly.
