Trains cancelled: A low-pressure area over the east-central Bay of Bengal is likely to turn into a cyclonic storm. Given the threat of a cyclonic storm, about 150 trains have been cancelled. Due to the pressure forming over the Bay of Bengal, the cyclone is likely to hit the coast of Odisha and West Bengal.
It is estimated that this cyclonic storm ‘Dana’ may reach the coast of Odisha-West Bengal between Puri and Sagar islands on the night of October 24. The cyclonic storm ‘Dana’ effect is visible on the Indian Railways. Due to the possibility of cyclones and storms, the railways have cancelled more than 150 trains.
