DA Hike Update: Once again, central employees and pensioners will hit the jackpot. Central employees may get a shower of Lakshmi before Dhanteras and Diwali. This time, a 3 percent increase in the DA of central employees can be announced. After this, a bumper increase in salary will be seen, which will be like a big gift.

About 1 crore employees and pensioners will benefit from this, which will be like a big gift. Earlier, the government has refused to form the 8th Pay Commission. Not only this, it has also refused to give DA arrears. The government has not officially announced the date of DA increase, but media reports are claiming it till October 25.

DA will increase to this much percent

A huge increase can be made in the DA of central employees and pensioners. It is believed that the government will likely increase DA by 3 percent, after which it will increase to 53 percent. At present, employees are getting the benefit of 50 percent DA. This will lead to a bumper increase in the salary of the employees, which is like good news for everyone.

If the DA hike is announced now, then its rates will be considered effective from July 1, 2024, which will be a big hit for everyone. According to the Seventh Pay Commission, DA is increased twice every year. Its rates are effective from July 1 and January 1. Earlier in the month of March, DA was increased by 4 percent, which increased to 50 percent.

The government has given a blow on the 8th Pay Commission

The central government has given a big blow on the 8th Pay Commission. Pankaj Chaudhary, a state finance minister of the government, had dismissed the possibility of formation of the 8th Pay Commission. He had said in the Rajya Sabha that the government has no such proposal, on which the formation of the 8th Pay Commission can be considered.

Actually, the government constitutes a new pay commission every ten years, which is then implemented after two years. Earlier, the 7th Pay Commission was constituted in the year 2014. It was implemented after two years i.e. in the year 2026. This led to a bumper increase in the salary.
