December 14 – Second Saturday of the month – Holiday for all the banks of the country
December 15 – Sunday will be a holiday – All the banks of the country will remain closed
December 18 – Guru Ghasidas Jayanti – Banks located in Chandigarh will remain closed
December 19 – Goa Liberation Day – Banks will remain closed in Panaji
December 22 – Sunday will be a holiday – Banks will remain closed across the country
December 24 – Martyrdom Day of Guru Teg Bahadur – Banks of Meghalaya, Mizoram, Punjab and Chandigarh will remain closed
December 25- All states
26 December- Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland
December 28 – Fourth Saturday of the month – Holiday in banks across the country
December 29 – Sunday will be a holiday – Banks across the country will remain closed
27 December- Nagaland
30 December- Meghalaya
December 31- Mizoram, Sikkim

Reserve Bank decides bank holidays

Let us tell you that in these states, apart from weekly off, banks will remain closed for local festivals. The Reserve Bank of India decides holidays, keeping in mind the local festivals in all the country’s states. Apart from the Reserve Bank, no bank can determine the holiday on its own. Only the Reserve Bank has the right to determine the bank holidays.
