Telli Medicine scheme : Treatment of diseases related to eyes, skin, bones, ears, nose, throat and children can now be done from home. The Health Department of the Delhi Government has started tele medicine service for the relief of patients. Under this, patients will also get the facility of Ayurveda, Homeopathic and Unani medicine along with allopathy.
To avail the facility, the patient will first have to register on the Sanjeevani portal of the Central Government. During registration, an OTP will come on the phone. After this, complete information of the patient will have to be given.
After giving the information, the patient will have to login to the portal. In this, any investigation report or other medical records related to the disease will have to be given. After giving this information, the patient will be asked for time for a video call.
Whatever time the patient tells, the doctor’s video call will come at that time. The patient and the doctor will put forth the entire problem in the video call. After this, the patient will be able to download his treatment slip from the portal.
Services will be available from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. The department will soon start a proper awareness campaign about this telemedicine service, which will include all economic classes and age groups. Special awareness campaigns will be run to make it easily available. For the convenience of patients, 75 doctors and 67 link officers have been added to this service. They will give consultation and advice to patients through video calls.

Department officials say that the people of Delhi will benefit from the launch of various specialty based tele-medicine services through the e-Sanjeevani portal. With its help, patients will be able to get accessible and affordable health services sitting at home. With its help, the burden of physical OPD in hospitals will be reduced. Through this service, patients can consult doctors and experts through video calls on smartphones and computers.
Trouble increased due to change in weather
Cases of seasonal diseases are increasing after intermittent rains in Delhi. The number of such patients in the OPD of hospitals has increased by 20 to 25 percent. Many patients have fever for a few weeks. While many patients are suffering from back pain, weakness, muscle strain, cold, cough and other diseases.
