Mahila Samridhi Yojana: The Delhi government has taken a big step to empower women. Now Rs 2500 will come in the account of women every month. Who will get the benefit of ‘Mahila Samridhi Yojana’

Not all women will get the benefit of Delhi government’s ‘Mahila Samridhi Yojana’. This scheme is especially for those women whose annual income is Rs 3 lakh or less. This scheme is for those women who do not pay tax. To make such women self-reliant, the Delhi government has come up with ‘Mahila Samridhi Yojana’. After the official announcement of this scheme, Rs 2500 will start coming in the accounts of women every month.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Annual income should be less than Rs 3 lakh and should not fall in the tax slab.
  2. Do not have a government job and age should be between 18 to 60 years.
  3. There should not be any financial assistance from the government.
  4. There should be a Delhi address proof, meaning the applicant should have lived in Delhi for at least five years.
  5. There should not be more than one bank account, there should be only one bank account in Delhi, and that account should be linked to an Aadhaar.

How to Register

To become a beneficiary in this scheme, you have to register yourself. This registration will be done at various centres. Apart from this, registration counters will be set up in all big markets and societies to add beneficiaries to the scheme. But official information about when this registration will start has not come yet.
