Honorarium Hike: The Uttar Pradesh government has made a tremendous announcement for its health workers this Diwali. The government has given the gift of happiness to the community health officers working in all the Ayushman Arogya Mandirs of the state.
The government has announced an increase of about Rs 5000 in the honorarium of all the CHOs of the state. This will benefit 17000 CHOs located across the state. The increased new rates have been implemented from October 1, 2024, which means they can all benefit from this month itself.
How big is the Honorarium
Taking a big step from the Uttar Pradesh government, it was told that the honorarium of all the health officers of the state has been increased by Rs 5000. After the increase in the honorarium of the people by the government, now they will get Rs 25000 every month. The government has implemented this scheme from October 1 itself.
Cut in the incentive amount
The government has cut Rs 5000 from you, so now they will get only Rs 10000 instead of 15000. Earlier, no CHO was used to get the full incentive amount, but after the cut, they will get the full benefit.
Due to this, their annual honorarium will increase by 5%. Now, if the health workers work for 28 days every month, they will become entitled to the incentive amount.
Big gifts can be given on dearness allowance
The Uttar Pradesh government can soon give another gift to all the employees and pensioners. This time on the auspicious festival of Diwali, the state government can also announce a 4% dearness allowance.
After this, their dearness allowance will increase from 50% to 54%. With the increase in dearness allowance, the arrears from July to October can also come into the accounts of pensioners and employees. The increased pension benefit will be given to 20 lakh employees and 8 lakh state pensioners.
