Mahila Samriddhi Yojana: The Delhi government’s ambitious initiative, the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana, has been officially launched by the BJP. This program aims to provide financial assistance of Rs 2500 each month to women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Online portal for registration

To facilitate this scheme, the Delhi government has created an online portal for registration. The information provided by applicants will be verified through this portal. A crucial document required for applicants is their bank account number, which must be linked to their Aadhaar card. If your bank account is not currently linked to your Aadhaar, we will outline the process for doing so. Additionally, we will explain how to verify whether your Aadhaar is linked to your bank account.

How to link bank account to your Aadhaar

To link your bank account to your Aadhaar card, you will need to utilize internet banking. Access your bank’s internet banking portal or app and locate the ‘Link Aadhaar’ option, which can be found in various sections of each bank’s website. After selecting your account, enter your Aadhaar number and submit the request. You will receive an SMS informing you of the status of your request.

How to check the status

To check if your bank account is linked to your Aadhaar, you can make a phone call. Dial 9999*1# using your registered bank account number, then enter your Aadhaar number twice. After submitting, the status will be displayed on your phone, allowing you to confirm whether your Aadhaar number is linked to your bank account.

It is important to note that if your bank account and Aadhaar are not linked, you will be ineligible for the benefits of the Mahila Samman Yojana and may miss out on receiving the monthly assistance of Rs 2500. Therefore, linking your Aadhaar and bank account is essential.
