According to Sumita Dawra, Secretary of, the Ministry of Labour and Employment, this new facility aims to provide members with quick and easy access to their PF accounts. PF withdrawal from ATM
EPFO will issue a special ATM card to its members, which will be linked to their PF account. Using this card, members will be able to withdraw funds directly from their PF account from any ATM across the country. The withdrawal limit can be up to 50% of the total PF balance, ensuring that enough money is saved for retirement. This facility will prove to be a boon for those who suddenly need money.

PF withdrawal from UPI
EPFO is in the process of integrating its digital infrastructure with UPI, which will allow members to transfer funds directly from their PF accounts.

75% PF can be withdrawn after one month of losing a job
Under the PF withdrawal rules, if a member loses his job, he can withdraw up to 75% of the money from the PF account after 1 month. With this, he can meet his needs during unemployment. The remaining 25% of the amount deposited in PF can be withdrawn after two months of losing the job. This rule is a big relief for those who suddenly lose their job.
