The Ministry of Labor and Employment gave considerable information in a conversation with an agency. According to Employment Ministry Secretary Sumita Dawra, PF members will soon be able to withdraw their money through UPI and ATM, possibly by the end of May and June this year. He further said that with the introduction of this facility, customers will experience a transformational change.

With this, they will be able to view the balance of their PF account directly on UPI. Only seven of its members can now easily withdraw PF amount for current illness, marriage and house construction. The secretary said that EPFO ​​has made significant progress in digitizing its processes.

Social security coverage crosses this percentage with an increase

Do you know that according to the Global Labor Organization, India’s social security coverage has increased from 24.4 percent in 2021 to 48.8 percent in 2024. Existing central social security schemes have been included in this increase.
