Major news is waiting for crores of EPFO members. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is gearing up to roll out EPFO 3.0 soon, as announced by Union Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. He mentioned that the government is implementing significant changes to EPFO, which will provide members with a range of new services, eliminating the need to visit government offices.

Everything will be handled through your Universal Account Number (UAN)

According to Minister Mandaviya, the upcoming EPFO 3.0 will function similarly to a bank. Just like you manage transactions at a bank, you’ll be able to handle everything with your UAN. This means EPFO members can conduct all their business using this single number, just like banking transactions.

You’ll also have the convenience of withdrawing money from an ATM whenever you need it.

With the new EPFO 3.0 services, employees will be able to perform all banking-like transactions using their UAN. There will be no need to visit the EPFO office, and you can easily withdraw funds from an ATM at your convenience.

During the meeting, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced that EPF subscribers now have the option to withdraw their EPF funds through ATMs. He also mentioned that minor corrections can be made online. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy highlighted that the Sanathnagar ESIC Hospital and Medical College has achieved the top position in the country and expressed gratitude to Mandaviya for this accomplishment. He emphasized the need for more hospitals and EPFOs to be established in Telangana.

Reddy noted that proposals have been submitted to the state government regarding this matter. He mentioned that if land is allocated in areas like Ramagundam, construction will commence. MP Raghunandan Rao raised concerns about rumors suggesting that the EPFO office in Siddipet might be merged with another office and requested Mandaviya to ensure that the Siddipet office remains operational. In response, the minister instructed Central Provident Fund Commissioner Ramesh Krishnamurthy to keep the Siddipet office open.
