Right now an Aadhaar card has become an important proof of identity in India, which is considered as a valid ID almost everywhere. The mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card is super helpful for getting updates. Sometimes, people forget which number they used because they have multiple mobile numbers. But don’t worry, there’s an easy way to find out which one is linked to your Aadhaar without leaving your home.

Check it online

You can visit the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to find your linked mobile number. Start by going to the website and selecting the Verify Email/Password option under Aadhaar Services in the My Aadhaar section. Then, click on the mobile number option. Fill in your Aadhaar number, the mobile number you want to check, and the captcha, then hit submit. Your linked mobile number will show up.

If the number is already verified, you’ll see a message saying that the number you entered is already in UIDAI’s records. If it’s not linked, you’ll get a message saying that the number isn’t found in UIDAI’s records. In that case, you can try checking other numbers.
